WhatsApp in the shared channel workspace

The official channel works next to Telegram and the site widget: one AI, one customer history.

what it is

What is official WhatsApp (WABA) in Botseller?

Official WhatsApp (WABA) is the WhatsApp Business API connected to the Botseller platform, so your business talks to customers from an official company number instead of managers' personal phones. The chat runs through an approved channel: the history is kept in the company CRM, an AI employee answers inbound messages, and you can reach out first through official templates that pass moderation. This removes the main fear of business: gray-scheme broadcasts get a number banned, while an official channel plays by the rules and stays stable. Broadcasts to your base go out gradually and with delivery statuses, and the AI picks up customers' replies into a live dialogue. Every conversation links to the customer card: you see what the person asked, what was promised and the next step, and a manager can join from the same workspace. WABA attaches as a module over your plan, and WhatsApp's provider fees for messages and templates are paid separately by actual volume.

how it works

01

We connect the official channel

The company number is registered in the WhatsApp Business API and linked to the platform.

02

We prepare templates

Messages for first touches pass WhatsApp moderation. Once approved, you can write first with them.

03

The AI runs inbound

The AI answers customers' messages at once, from the knowledge base and the history. Hard cases go to a manager.

04

Everything stays in the CRM

The chat, statuses and outcomes live in the customer card, not in someone's phone.

why it matters

Why the WhatsApp Business API is safer than a personal number and gray broadcasts

WhatsApp has long been the place where messages actually get read: not a letter in the spam folder and not a call from an unknown number. But most businesses go in there through managers' personal phones or through gray services. That scheme lives until the first complaint: the number is banned along with the contact base, and years of chat history disappear in a single day.

There is a second risk noticed later. A manager's personal WhatsApp leaves with the manager: agreements, contacts, promises to customers. So a growing company sooner or later runs into an awkward question: whose channel is this really, the business's or a particular employee's with their phone.

The WhatsApp Business API closes both risks at once. The number is registered to the company, first messages go by templates that passed WhatsApp's review, and the channel stops depending on luck and complaints. The economics are transparent too: a marketing message costs the provider a small per-send fee, while inbound replies from customers are free. The business pays for the first touch, and the live conversation is carried on by the AI from the same workspace as every other channel.

how it compares

How it differs from WhatsApp-to-CRM connectors

By the connection it is a familiar WABA connector: an official number, templates, chat that lands in the CRM.

An AI employee answers inbound, instead of a message just being forwarded to a manager.

After a broadcast the dialogue continues: the AI picks up the reply and leads to a booking or a payment.

The CRM, knowledge base and other channels are already inside: no gluing several services together.

what's inside

Official company number

Customers write to the business, not to a manager personally: the base and history belong to the company.

Templates with moderation

First messages go by approved WhatsApp templates: reminders, confirmations, broadcasts.

Broadcasts with no ban risk

Broadcasts to your base only the official way, gradually and within limits.

AI replies to inbound

The customer wrote: the AI answers at once, works out what is needed and leads to a booking or a payment.

History in the CRM

Every WhatsApp chat lands in the customer card next to the other channels.

Handoff to a manager

A person takes the dialogue with the history and the handoff reason, from the same workspace.

Broadcasts to customer groups

Bringing back an old base, visit reminders, nudging unpaid orders: you write first to the right group.

Delivery statuses

For each message you see: delivered, read, replied.

Shared context with other channels

A customer from WhatsApp is recognized in Telegram and on the site: the history is one.

what changes

What changes when WhatsApp becomes the company's channel

The chat stops living in other people's phones. Any dialogue opens from the shared workspace, you see what was promised to the customer and where things stopped, and a new employee continues the conversation with no awkward asking all over again. A vacation, a departure or a lost phone no longer erases relationships with customers built over years.

Writing first becomes normal practice, not a risk. A visit reminder, bringing back those who have not been in for a while, a polite nudge on a forgotten payment: it all goes out officially and with a status on each message. When the customer replies, the AI joins in the same minute and turns the broadcast into a conversation, and the conversation into a booking. The channel works for years because it plays by WhatsApp's rules, not against them.

how much it costs

Monthly add-on + WhatsApp provider fees

a separate module · attaches to plans from Start

WABA attaches as a module over the platform plans, most often to Business: WhatsApp provider fees for messages and templates are paid separately by actual volume.

frequently asked questions

Can I message customers first?

Yes, but only by approved templates and within WhatsApp's rules. This is a platform limit, and it also protects the channel: spam does not get through.

Why is WABA paid separately from the plan?

WhatsApp has provider fees for messages and templates that depend on volume and category. So WABA attaches as a module and is paid by actual usage.

How is an official channel better than a manager's personal number?

The history and base stay with the company, the number does not risk a ban for broadcasts, and the AI and CRM work with every dialogue. From a personal number none of this is available.

Will broadcasts really not lead to a ban?

An official channel works by WhatsApp's rules: templates, categories, limits, pace. When they are followed, the channel is stable. We do not use gray schemes.

Is it hard to connect?

The launch team helps you through registering the number, setting up the channel and getting templates approved. From the business side you need the company details and a number.
