WhatsApp Business API Integration

Botseller integrates with the WhatsApp Business API (via Gupshup as a Technology Partner) to enable businesses to send and receive messages through WhatsApp. When you or your business uses this feature, the following applies:

Data Shared with WhatsApp

• Phone numbers of message recipients
• Message content (text, template messages)
• Delivery metadata (timestamps, delivery/read status)
• Template message data (template names, variables, language codes)

Sub-processors

Meta Platforms, Inc. (WhatsApp) and Gupshup act as sub-processors for WhatsApp messaging data. Data is processed in accordance with the WhatsApp Business Data Processing Terms and the WhatsApp Business Policy.

Consent (Opt-in)

Users explicitly consent to receiving WhatsApp messages by providing their phone number and selecting WhatsApp as a communication channel within the Service. Businesses using Botseller are responsible for obtaining proper opt-in consent from their end users before sending messages.

Opt-out

Users can stop receiving messages at any time by blocking the business account in WhatsApp or by contacting us at admin@botseller.ai.

Information Security

Botseller maintains appropriate technical, administrative, and physical security measures to prevent unauthorized access to, use of, or disclosure of personal information that we collect or store.

We regularly monitor our systems for potential vulnerabilities and attacks. However, the security of information transmitted over the Internet cannot be guaranteed. In the event of unauthorized disclosure of your personal data to third parties, you will be notified within 72 hours.

Changes and Updates to This Policy

We may change or update this Privacy Policy as necessary. We will notify you of any changes and update the “Last updated” date.

Continued use of the Service confirms your agreement with our Privacy Policy and any changes made to it. We recommend periodically reviewing this Privacy Policy.

Age Restrictions

The Service is not intended for use by minors. Any person from EU countries under the age of 18 is prohibited from using the Service. Such persons should not attempt to register an account or provide us with any personal information.

We do not intentionally collect personal information from persons under the age of 18. Upon receiving information that personal data has been collected from a person under the age of 18, such data will be immediately deleted.

Data Retention and Deletion

You may change (update, supplement) the personal information you have provided or any part of it, as well as the privacy settings, at any time using the personal data editing function available in your account.

Personal data is stored in the Service until the use of the Service is terminated. If data is deleted from the Service at the initiative of either party, the User's personal data is retained in the Service's databases for no more than six (6) months.

After the above storage period expires, the User's personal data will be destroyed.

You may withdraw your previously given consent to the processing of personal data at any time, subject to written notification to the Service through the contact channels listed below at least ninety (90) days before the intended date of termination of processing.
