Data Deletion Request

What Data We Collect
When you interact with businesses that use Botseller's WhatsApp Business API integration, the following data may be collected and stored:
- Phone number — your WhatsApp phone number
- Message history — content of messages exchanged with the business
- Delivery metadata — timestamps, delivery and read status
- Profile information — name and other details you provided to the business
How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your personal data using one of the following methods:
Option 1: Through Facebook Settings
- Go to your Facebook Settings
- Navigate to Security and Login → Apps and Websites
- Find BootsellerGS in the list of active apps
- Click Remove
- Confirm the removal and check the box to delete all data associated with the app
Option 2: Email Request
Send an email to admin@botseller.ai with the following information:
- Subject: Data Deletion Request
- Body: Your full name, phone number associated with WhatsApp, and a request to delete all personal data
Option 3: Block the Business Account
You can block the business WhatsApp account directly in your WhatsApp app. Open the chat → tap the business name → scroll down → Block. This will prevent further messages and you can then request data deletion via email.
Timeline
Upon receiving your data deletion request:
- We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days
- All personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
Please note that some data may be retained for a limited period as required by applicable law (e.g., financial records, legal obligations). Such data will be deleted as soon as the legal retention period expires.
What Happens After Deletion
- Your message history will be permanently removed from our servers
- Your phone number will be removed from all contact lists and mailing lists
- You will no longer receive messages from businesses using Botseller
- This action is irreversible — deleted data cannot be recovered
