What data can be deleted
You may request deletion of personal data that was transmitted to Botseller through the website, contact forms, workspace, CRM workflows, web forms, support requests or messenger channels connected by a customer.
- Contact data: name, phone number, email, company, job title.
- History of messages, requests and support interactions.
- Workspace data associated with your account.
- Technical data and events, unless required to be retained by law.
Messenger channel data (Instagram, WhatsApp)
If you have interacted with a business through an Instagram Direct Message or WhatsApp conversation powered by Botseller, we may hold data related to that interaction (your messenger user ID, message content, timestamps, delivery status).
You may request deletion of this data using the process described below. Upon receiving a valid request, Botseller will delete or anonymize the messenger-related data, unless the data must be retained to comply with a legal obligation or a legitimate interest of the customer who operates the channel.
How to submit a request
Send your request to admin@botseller.ai.
Subject: Personal Data Deletion Request
Please include: your full name, a contact for follow-up, a description of the data or service the request relates to, and information confirming your association with that data (e.g. your messenger username, phone number or email used in the interaction).
If the data was processed on behalf of a Botseller customer, we may forward your request to the customer as the data controller or ask you for additional details.
Timeline
- We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 5 business days.
- The request will be reviewed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
- Data will be deleted or anonymized unless its continued storage is required by law, contract, accounting, service security or dispute resolution.
- Once the request has been processed, we will send a confirmation to your contact.
